Lately, I have been binging on Sex And The City.
I have systematically been making my way through all the episodes.
Right now, I am up to Season 5.

I think you’ve pegged the gals perfectly. Funny thing is, I very much relate to Samantha, and I am soooo NOT dominant. I’d venture to say that as you watch more episodes you might find that Samantha is dominant only because she hasn’t yet found a man who’s strong enough to toss her to the ground and make her scream Uncle. Oh what fun you must be having watching all the shows. And what an interesting insight.
I got to say I partly disagree with your interpretation of Samantha. I see her as a kinkster and a Pro-Domme only, not a true dominant Mistress. Why? I do think you have a very valid point about Samantha possibly being more of a kinkster there.
I will say one thing about Samantha & blow jobs though.

You definitely have that right about Samantha and manflesh. First and foremost Samantha is a complete cock-whore. She loves sex in all its forms but I think her distrust of men has caused her to focus her attention on their equipment which she can trust and control.
As the episodes go on you’ll find her character deepens and reveals a lot of vulnerability. She’s an awesome character.

I did think of that point, and it is an interesting one to bring up.
I totally agree, in theory, that if that is what Samantha wants and gets what she desires then that is Domming.
