cross-posted from The Enigmatic Angel
I swim between the tides.
There is the comfort of the known shore,
my home these last ten years.
I tasted and feasted on such tasty pain there.
And still – and yet – I still crave more.
But out there
there is a savage wilderness
that calls to me, that beckons.
There I find the naked flesh
which quivers beneath my long exploring nails.
There I find that shiny gaze
filled with adoration.
There I find the supplicant begging
to be striped, to be marked, to be bound and so much more.
I swim between the tides
and wonder
which shore
shall claim
my soul
today.

delicious .. enigmatic indeed, the tug of tide and beckoning delight of uncharted shores.
