Vaginal Speculum for Medical Enthusiasts The Auvard weighted speculum operates by its own weight (2.5 lbs). The single bill is inserted vaginally on a reclined woman. The bill pulls downward, opening her quite wide. The speculum is grooved its entire length to allow for fluid drainage. The end is even flared for hose hook up if collection of the fluid is desired.
Obviously this is not the easiest speculum to take. Not recommended for the beginning speculum enthusiast. Specs: Bill: 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches Length: 9 inches overall. Price is for 1 speculum.
