So a while back I heard about a type of body mod called Cell Popping through a group on Fetlife. The Mistress responsible for reawakening this art, ArtisticDomme, has a website as well where you can order a kit. So I decided to go ahead and order it.

This body mod is considered a temporary branding lasting anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months. It is totally dependent on one’s healing  cycle. What is cell popping? Basically it is heating a small metal poker under a flame until it is glowing red and gently applying the poker to the skin for like 1 second. A design is chosen and outlined by a series of dots made by the poker.

Great, so my kit arrived. Now I needed a victim. I put up an add on Fetlife…to no avail Until I met the lovely LiquidRasberry at a play party. She had seen my post on Fetlife and was more then willing to try it. One week later she was at my place, desing in hand, and poking we did go! Check out the result.

She said it is obviously a bit painful, like a burn, but not that bad. She never once screamed or anything. As far as I know she is the first person in Montreal to receive cell popping.
