Folsom East
Posted by ldyraven on Thursday Jul 2, 2009 Under KinkI went to FolsomEast this past weekend with Justin, and as usual it was an adventure. We hung out the night before so you know oh girl was whipped. After having coffee and some breakfast we headed downtown.
I have to say that my neighbors if they didn’t think I was strange before they do now. In my defense I have to say if they were not sitting blocking the door in front of the building they would not have the sight of a big ass leather boy (yes dressed in full leather) on a bright Sunday morning/afternoon. We made our way pass the neighbors up the hill pass the church, then up another hill pass the nunnery (yes nunnery) to the train.
I’m not saying people in the Bronx don’t know what leather is or looks like but it’s not something you see everyday walking to the train. It wasn’t like he was wearing chaps with the back out, but it was funny looking at people trying not to look.
So we made it to 28th and 10th, Brother Emery was working the entrance and we were with our people. It was a nice day although rain was forecasted, I got to catch up with a few folks and saw Richard who has a fabulous store that was reviewed in vogue. Mostly everyone was in the eagle, so there were not many people on the street at least not when I was there. And after making the rounds at ONXY Men’s table (I love my brothers) and talking with Doc a bit, we made our way to MAsT Metro, TES, LSM, and NYLW’s table.
The best part was watching Sahara Pallin swing a hammer and ring the bell for charity; I even believe he/she was sporting a baby in a blanket. Ha!
Being tiered I thought I might need to eat so we left and went to get something to eat. Which only made me feel worst and I headed home, while the leather boy headed to Rawhide, the oldest leather bar in NY.
So although it was not as adventurous as the nights before I did enjoy myself. Oh and I got a great fatigue corset from Lady Sabrina, can’t wait to wear it.
