I am a big fan of metal toys of any kind and I was very happy when Tabu Toys graciously offered me the Alumination Vibrator – Gold for review. Definitely a great store to shop sex toys at.

This vibrator arrives in a nice clean modern box with a plastic tray inside holding the vibrator up to the plastic window of the box. I like it a lot because its presented as a sophisticated toy yet they did not go overboard like many other in the packaging – my environmental pet peeve wit toy manufacturers.

The Alumination Vibrator – Gold is a slim vibrator measuring just over 6 inches long by 3/4 inch in diameter (the site says 1 inch, it is not) and is made of on the outside a lightweight aluminum. The color is a orangy gold making the Aluminaton a very sleek and cool toy to look at and feel. The vibrator requires 2 AAA batteries to power. Just screw off the cap at the bottom, pop the batteries in and screw the cap back into place. There are 3 settings of continuous vibration – low, med, high – and even the high setting is pretty quiet and discreet.

Now considering how slim this toy is you will never get a feeling of fullness at penetration. Rather this toy is made to target the clit or for general foreplay teasing. It could be a good toy for a beginner too for penetration or those with insertion difficulties. It’s great too for temperature play because you could pop it in the freezer a couple of hours before use. For me it would never be a toy for penetration as I like bigger shapes and although it get me hot and bothered I need more precise control to make me cum clitoraly. If I am really horny then I could get off easy enough. What I did find this toy perfect for is anal play. Even the non experience player can take this toy anally no problem and vibrations are fabulous in the ass. I am sure I will find quite a few more uses for it with time too.

Any lube can be used with the Alumination. It is super easy to clean as this toy is non-porous and completely phthalate free.  Just wash it with warm water and anti-bacterial. If you want to disinfect it just whip it down with a bleach solution.
