A friend of mine recently sent me an article concerning eco-friendly sex. Which led me to think is there such a thing as eco-friendly BDSM? So I searched the net for answers and solutions. Well let me tell you there was not a whole lot out there. But I did find a few gems:

Other studies on rats and mice claim that exposure of these toxic chemicals could cause cancer and damage the reproductive system. Also many popular erotic toys are made of polyvinyl chlorides (PVC) and softened with phthalates. These include soft jelly and cyberskin toys and novelties.

So what are the eco-alternatives for green-conscious pleasure-seekers? The most ecologically correct choices may be metal, hard plastics, pure medical grade silicone, or glass dildos.
